Make sure you take a ground stake or something so that he can be secured if you go to the loo or anything etc. or if you think he will break out of the tent in the night just to be safe :+:
I love taking mine to the car shows
Ours just loves to be out and about anywhere, plus he comes in handy in the garage now and again....Quote:

Do you need any more help on Friday evening? If so me and my son can probably make it.
John I can't remember from last year but does the ticket allow two people in?
Yes the ticket is for two, I will be bringing the gazbo etc Friday about 4.30
The main thing is to put up the gazbo banner and flag,
sometimes the grass has to be cut.
could all people with tickets be on site at least by 9.00am sat/sunday.
Bill.
You have PM John.
I should also be there on the Friday night to give a helping hand with stuff.
Looking forward to this :D , as Le Mans is looking sketchy at best. :(
Will be good to meet a few more new faces.
Cheers
Tom
Is it OK to come on Friday night Bill? My son finishes school at 3.30pm so we could be there about 5.30pm -6.00pm if you want us.Quote:

Maybe it would be better/more realistic to come up on Friday night?
The reason Mark is that the show gets really busy and the cars need to be on the stand before the public arrive. It was an early start for me last year so I am also thinking that Friday night after school finishes might be a better choice :+:Quote:

We have attended Tatton in the past where it has been so busy that they stop letting cars with passes in after 10:30am and make them park with the turnstile visitors.
From past experience the organiser will issue more tickets than the capacity can take as there are always no-shows
Tatton is very weather dependant, if the sun is shining you cannot move on the roads for people, therefore it is very difficult to drive to the pitch. If you are really late ( early afternoon ) the organisers might park you with the public. Before 9 is an ideal, but if you are a little late, you stand a chance. But you can always park and walk to the pitch and we will do our best to get you in. If it is good weather, you will find that you are queuing for some time to get in.Quote:

If you are camping, you will be able to set your tent from Friday afternoon onwards, the Ticket allows entry from lunch time/ early afternoon, and many hands make light work etc.. :+:Quote:

You know I'm not sure why but for some reason I thought we'd be camping, having the craic & then looking at other peoples cars...I never really thought that they'd be looking at ours! Am new to all this, sorry!
Maybe Friday night would be better, as I dont fancy getting up at 5am on Saturday! :+:
Tommy you will sould have no trouble arriving late friday.
This is to all ticket people show your ticket at the MAIN GATE
and you will not be charged to enter Tatton
Bill.
Hey Tommy, I'm going to be there Friday night onwards on the *cough* other stand. ;) Get yourself there for Friday, I'm sure we could shout a conversation from our respective pitches as they are next door to each other! :wave:Quote:

Hope we can still gatecrash under the big trees, or is there a good camping spot behind our stand?
Looking forward to it :+:
I was thinking that as well, last year we camped behind the stand which is in the trees, but on that plan it shows Vauxhalls and Opels in the trees (actually quite a good place to hide them).Quote:

The list is from my excel master, Mark Kingston unfortunately has canceled, Vyizis has not been in contact. So 18 MK1's over the weekend, I hope you all enjoy the event!
I have one ticket left so a chance for anybody who would to come along.
I've made a slight bo-bo, some of the tickets have 'tent' written on them, if you are not camping, and have one of these, could you do a swap with the campers with no 'tent' tickets. I haven't noticed this before, and I have a couple of tickets myself with tent on them so I can help out if it's an issue.
I'll bring a cool box with soft drinks and some snacks, if anyone has a camping stove I'll bring milk coffee, etc.
Cheers
John
Yes, unfortunately I was pulled from the hat at work & am now "On-Call" on the Friday night. The on-call period finishes at 0830 Saturday, therefore I felt it only fair to allow somebody else the opportunity to use my ticket as I would only have been able to make it on Sunday. Also, Cardiff - Tatton return, in one day is a bit of a trek with a 12 year-old in tow!! ;)Quote:

Am really gutted to have missed out but hopefully I'll be able to make it next time around.
All the best for a crackin weekend guys :+:
Mark
Just checked my ticket, it does not mention camping but is ticked for both days.
We will be arriving Friday night, they should let us in and then we could swap the ticket.
I don't think the tent tickets will matter much, once you are in no one checks anything and if you are staying all weekend (which I am) then you should be OK.
I have a stove John so we will be able to make drinks etc, although I suspect I shall be drinking cold drinks most of the weekend :D
Let's hope the weather is kind to us :+:
I have a stove too if needed. Could be useful for bacon sarnie duty in the mornings. :D
Are disposable BBQ's allowed on site?
Can't wait now! :)
My wife said she will come if the weather is good, if not I'll either be on my own or with a mate. :+:
Cheers
Tom
BBQ's are fine :+:Quote:
