Club modified and 2nd place for best MR2 at show
It must have done as it was about 3 or 4 years ago the first time it came to Tatton. At that time, the guy said his mileage went from 35 to 86 just getting it to Tatton. He said it was amusing phoning up to get it insured, as when they asked for the mileage, he said "35", they said, "thousand?", he said "no, just 35!"! :)
Didn't get a pic mate. I heard it's only been driven once to a show, that's why it's got high miles now[emoji23] usually trailered in and out
The sign on the car said the current milage was 299 miles!
I feel sorry for the owner as it'll never get used and should be in a museum. It's certainly no way to win trophies by carting it about on a lorry. Where's the satisfaction in that?
It's just a good job I didn't buy it as it would have 300 to 500 miles a weekend on it plus I would have to mod is a bit [emoji1]
I think cars should not be ornaments , they should be driven, especially sports cars. My car is race tuned stone chipped and well used,. I would have my AW11 over it any day. My car has sole.
I think it's nice that there is an example with such low mileage. It's a talking point at least I suppose with this one it's now too late to drive it. It should be kept as it is. I wouldn't want to own it as I'd find it a pain having all the responsibility, but hardly any pleasure.
