That is a relief Kris, really looking forward to this. It will quite possibly be the inaugral trip for the Hymer as we are busy for the next few weekends :-)

Got mine today, thanks Bill.
Does anyone know if they have a turn up & show for sale section?

I think its all ticket only only Alan
Forgot to say the ticket arrived last week, thanks Bill.
Does anyone know the latest I can arrive on Friday evening? I should be there around 9pm if the traffic is kind to me. I could make it early Saturday morning if that is easier.
Michael
Cant see 9pm being an issue. Even if the main park gate is closed there is a 24 hour gate on the show field :-)
Michael I will try to find out.
Bill.
I've arrived at close to midnight before. If you can't get in through the main gates, then you can go around to the back (where you exit normally). There's 24 hour security there.
HTH. :D
Cheers,
Tom
Friday around 9 will be fine and you will get in no problem , we can give you a lift to set your tent up and we shouldn't be to pissed by then  . Great that you going mate you will love it ,its a top weekend with brilliant people .
Gary
As anyone got a descent generator they can take to tatton as i was thinking of doing a mopping demonstration on club members cars which have lost there shine .
Gary
There definately is a for sale section, it is always near the main entrance. I would guess you need to pay normal entry and then just park up down there, there is a phone number to ring about it in the following article.

Weather forecast is looking ok (for once!!!!) http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/w...ime=1401404400
What time are people planning on arriving on Friday? We are looking at coming over at lunchtime, work permitting.
Mike and I will hopefully be arriving around dinner time as well Kris. Although I might go the long way round as I do not fancy being stuck in the Tintwistle traffic in the campervan.
We will have to park our vans with enough space for my awning in the middle then if the weather is bad we will have a well protected sitting area it is a shame Julian is not coming on the Friday we could have made a really well protected area with three vans :-)
Andy and I will be there for around 2 pm . it looks like bob will be going as well .
My van is weird though, there is only one door and that is behind the passenger seat (drivers seat in the UK!!!), I am sure we will work something out though, my awning is 3m as well.
Dead simple mate... we drive in facing the same way forward, 6m apart, our awnings will cover the gap.
Simples :-)
Mind you after Gary visited on Saturday I spent the next two days in bed feeling really rough, should be good for Friday though.
Youre in similarly miserable company... Ive done my right shoulder in. Perfect* for clambering in & out of an overcab bed!!
I would say have a few drinks but I know you can't :-(
Take plenty of ibuprofen with you and relax, you will be fine :-)
Hi everyone. I've got a ticket for the Saturday but my car is in the garage on Friday with MR2 Ben to get it's pull to the left fixed. I'm still planning on going but it just might not be in the MR2. I can get it posted back out to anybody who wants it tomorrow first class if they want to exhibit their cars?
I'll be heading to Tatton on the Saturday in my MR2... I don't think anyone would exactly consider my car to be exhibition ready, but if you don't have any other takers please keep me in mind, I'd be very grateful.
Hi Paul you can post the ticket out to a club member BUT they wont get in with it unless bill hulme is contacted first with a name and reg number . you can put you car on the stand with pleasure Markie but you must ring or pm bill ( telephone on 01204 578147 , or mob 07812738764 ) with your name and reg of your car . its also better to get to Tatton for around 8.30 AM so we can set the cars up on the stand .
Gary
It does not matter what condition your car is in to show it at Tatton, we have had cars with serious rust problems over the years. I personally think it is good to have at least one car that needs work, this shows people what to expect and they can look at the cars that have been renovated and see what can be done.
A big thanks to Bill - I blew a hole in the radiator last week and had to have new one fitted this week - just got the car back this evening and thanks to Bill's advice and instruction over the phone I am now sure the car is bled correctly! Many Thanks Bill.
Looking forward to being back at Tatton on Sunday.
Gary - you said you would have a look at your diary and we could discuss some dates on Sunday for you to attend to the rust at the bottom of the pillars.
Graham
I'll see you all there in the morning! I was planning on being there tonight, but only got back from a 3 day trip in Germany with work yesterday afternoon (inc. getting picked up at 5:30am on bank holiday Monday, which sucked!) so am rather knackered! :)
Let's hope the weather makes a turn for the better too!
Cheers,
Tom
See you tomorrow then Tom, it is not raining our side of the hill so let's hope it is nice over Manchester way :-)
Mind you went to start the motorhome this morning and the battery was flat, luckily the leisure batteries were good so a quick jump and away we go. Getting 14.5 volts at the battery so alternator is good.
Unfortunately my father is not well so not venturing very far from home.

Great to see everybody today. Thanks to Gary and Bill for keeping us all in order.
2,000 cars and Kris, Tommy and myself spend the first hour of the day chatting about motorhomes!
Something of a debate going on here at home following a day in the sun - am I sun tanned or sun burnt (I think it is the latter but it would be foolish to admit it!)
A splendid day!
Graham
Another absolutely brilliant Tatton, I am sun burnt Graham :-)
It was really nice to see everyone again and great to meet new people. Michael, Stuart and Howard thanks for adding to our growing group of members, I hope you all come again in August.
It was another brilliant weekend again and top weather for a change . I would first like to thank the club members for taking the time to show their cars  , and new to Tatton show was Stuart, Howard and Michael and i hoped they enjoyed it. Most of the main campers got there Friday and Cris and Tommy set the campers up side by side so we had a decent seating area under cover it was very smart :+: and was used to its full potential Friday and Saturday night but saying that Friday night was a bit of a blur or totally forgotten in some cases :shh: brilliant 2 nights though top fun . The club stand had a lot of interest and with the quality of cars on show it deserved it, there was 3 prize winning cars and i will let bill reveal who they are as he has the pics on his camera . and a big thanks goes out to Alison for looking after bob for me when i was busy he is a pain in the arse and does stink but is very lovable

Hope to make the one in August or next year.

Once you get the Tatton bug Michael it is hard to stay away, great to meet you :-)
Great selection of cars on display guys - looks like you had a lot of fun.
I'm glad my efforts finally paid off for you Michael (I'd only been cleaning her up for a year!), and you've got one more trophy than I have :-)
Thanks all for a great day - Dominic wants to camp next year !
My son Mike started camping at Tatton with us when he was about 10 I think, your son will love it Howard.
