MR2 Racing Pembrey 16th & 17th May

The Mk1's roll into Pembrey, South Wales on the 16th & 17th May.
MR2 racing have 3 races over the weekend and some of the brave/stupid (delete as appropriate) will also be racing in the Nippon Challenge that also have 3 races over the weekend.
2 qualifying & 6 races over 2 days :o

Great venue, great viewing from all round the track.

What time does the action start on Saturday/Sunday?

Me & Debs definately will be there camping all weekend too & travelling down with Jason Jesse & Sheryl, ooooh cant wait !! :+: :lol: , Jinx

Not been sent the final instructions yet.
Sat Am will be qually I expect then probably 1 MR2 race Sat and then 2 on the Sun or vice versa, looks like a heathly entry list of Mk1's in the GT150 class of the Nippons too so no matter how it falls there will be Mk1's racing in 3 races per day :clap:

Any further info/details on this yet?

I'd really like to come along, but need a little more detail. Is there a website?

Doing MR2 and Nippon at Pembrey...
I'm doing both, and saw a few others were as well - have made a combined timetable below in case its useful to anyone.

One question though - as the [circuit's] scrutineering is for MSA compliance....do I really need to get scrutineered twice?

Similarly - can I sign on for both series at the same time?


Saturday
12:25 - Nippon signon
12:30 - Nippon scrut (until 13:00)
13:20 - MR2 signon
13:25 - MR2 scrut (until 13:55)
13:50 - Nippon qualifying
14:45 - MR2 qualifying
15:40 - Nippon race 1
16:40 - MR2 race 1
17:40 - Nippon race 2

Sunday
10:00 - MR2 free practise
11:00 - Nippon race 3
12:10 - MR2 race 2
14:35 - MR2 race 3"

Will definitely be there at some stage over the weekend, either later on Saturday afternoon or more likely Sunday. Although, the forecast is pretty bleak for both days :(
