RAINBOWS WET AND WILD - WANLIP COUNTRY PARK, LEICESTER - SUNDAY 12th SEPTEMBER 2004
It wasn't wet but it was wild, the attendance was better
than last year, again the Loughborough Mafia joined on this occasion by Lois and
Geoff from Stapleford in their two MR2s and Fred's helios blue, six in all.
There was a very good public showing, and there were some good stalls to view
and make money for the Rainbows Children's Hospice charity. Our cars drew a
great deal of interest and some potential owners and new members were in
evidence. The gazebo took a battering in the wind, we all had a healthy day out
and the forecast rain didn't present itself until we were all home safe and
sound.
