BATTERY RETAINING BRACKET

There is usually battery acid corrosion on the bracket, which is covered in a plastic coating. Over time the plastic cracks, causing the battery acid to seep in and corrode the metal.

Peel off all the plastic along the bracket using a utility knife and screwdriver. Then use a wire brush to remove the surface rust and acid corrosion.

Black spray paint.

Installed.
