DROP LINKS

RICKS LINKS TIP

When your front anti roll bar links start knocking - and they will eventually - you can replace them with the equivalent units from a Vauxhall Carlton or Opel Senator. You will have to drill the mounting holes on the anti roll bar and the McPherson strut out from 10mm to 12mm, and you have to fit them as a pair, because the length is a few mm different from the originals. The plus point is that they are available as pattern parts from your local motorists discount shop for about £25 a pair - as compared to nearly £80 EACH for genuine Toyota parts!

I`ve had this mod on my car for a few months and it works just fine.

The Vauxhall part no. for the links is 90334075, my pattern versions are made by Pearl and the part no. is PB53
