    We will soon be implementing changes to fully incorporate a forum-only membership. The planned membership levels, and their associated benefits/drawbacks are given below. An announcement will be made once the levels are to be made active - at which point those who do not wish to pay club membership ought to prepare for their private messaging boxes to be purged of excess messages.

    Full Club Member (£25 p.a.)

    Gets everything online and offline.

    Offline benefits:

    Magazine
    Membership pack (for both new members and renewals)
    Club event discounts where applicable
    Access to club schemes where applicable

    Online benefits:
    Full access to the forum, with read and write access to all forums & subforums.
    Access to member only technical articles (once they are made available online)
    Avatar, signature and Private messaging benefits as currently available
    Ability to advertise adverts for items for sale, as well as items wanted
    No limits to searches

    Online Club Member (£5 p.a.)

    Gets everything online.

    Offline benefits:

    Club event discounts where applicable
    Access to club schemes where applicable
    (Online club members will not receive either the membership pack or magazines)

    Online benefits:
    Identical to those listed for full club members.

    Non-paid forum members

    Restricted online benefits.

    Online restrictions:
    (i.e. as full online member minus the following)

    No access to technical articles.
    Can not create new threads in the technical section, can only reply to already started threads.
    Can not place adverts in the For sale section
    Can still place adverts in the Items Wanted section
    Can view events threads but can not reply to them or create any
    Can not view club discussion section
    Cannot have signatures (though we will retain the ability to have avatars for now)
    Limited to a total of 5 private messages between all inboxes and outboxes
    Limited to send PMs to only a single person
    Search-engine waiting; users will have to wait 30 seconds before initiating a new search
