Brief History
Originally supplied to the Goodyear Tyre Company in Belgium by the Toyota Motor Co as a test car, arrived as 1 of 5 other Toyotas at that time but was the only MR2. Circa 1990, after testing was complete, the car was spotted by a freelance journalist, in storage, doing some work for Goodyear who fell in love with the car and bought it from them. It was treated to a set of 14/15” BBS alloys with Goodyear Tyres (homage?) then lived in Belgium until 1998 when he emigrated to the UK, the car came too. I still have the original polished wheels with Goodyear tyres, possibly the ones tested on the car.
He sold the car in his old age, circa 2008, to an enthusiast (mileage now around 25,000 miles) who has garaged the car only putting about 2,500 miles on it in dry use only. He has done a lot of service work on the car including: supercharger belt, timing belt, gearbox oil, supercharger oil, clutch slave cylinder, coolant with Toyota ForLife Red and put an immobiliser on it.
The car is in fantastic condition, attached are some photos of the rear wheel arch inside lips, this is how clean the rest of the underside of the car is No welding and no rust under the bodykit – i have checked!

Interior is immaculate and is the Blue Cloth Type. A custom made Leather Interior can be fitted if desired.
