 Post subject: T-bar rails on A pillers

Okay this has been doing my head in for 2 days on the A pillers the rails for the tbar rubbers there a little part that looks like a coat hook , I can see it seats at the top but how dose it all go together ? Any pics would be a big help!! Sorry if my discription is not the best lol it's driving me mad :+:

this is the part! It's driving me mad ! Dose the black trim go on first the the silver rails then where dose that thing in the pic go ????

It looks like one of those weird trim tabs cars have sticking out from the sides of the windscreen. Unfortunately my MR2 is at my parent's so I can't go out and check but virtually every car seems to have them in some form or other.

Have a look 3/4 way up the A pillar for the mounting holes although if the screen is in you may not be able to of course.

My t-bar trims are fully stripped out but that part isn't ringing any bells :think:

If I remember I'll have a poke around Friday afternoon when I'm working on the car.

Just remembered I had a CD of the BGB. Looked at T-Bar details and windscreen but there is nothing that looks like that at all.

I'm stumped - silly question but are you sure it is off the car?

if u look at my project thread theres more pics, im pretty sure it came off the mr2 if not im going mad over nothing lol :lol:
