For sale:

Supercharger engine lid in Helios Blue. It was originally Mica Blue, but has been resprayed - looks grubby in the pics, but just needs a clean.

Magnex Stainless Exhaust. Strangely has a hole drilled into the downpipe by a previous owner - this would obviously need to be welded up, so is reflected in the price.

Thought I'd bring into the club one of my highlights of the last few years. I attended this run last year when it was Brands Hatch to Nurburgring in my Subaru Legacy estate. Best holiday I've ever had and an opportunity to meet a lot of like minded people, big age spread, loadsa different cars. Be good to see another MR2 there! This is the campsite in the middle of the ring. Whole field to our crowd which is nice.

Unfortunately, I'm not going as an official runner as I'll be going from Newcastle to Amsterdam as part of a much longer holiday that will include, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia and Slovenia before Germany but I will be camping there during the times.
But I have to go back and definitely go faster!

I've let the rust and paint fade get the better of my beloved Mk1a.

I've owned her since 2005, I'm the second owner and she's fairly low mileage. I want to fix her up for my father to use.

I really want to get her ship shape again. I'm after a few bits and pieces in the original red colour

I purchased the MR2 as a repaired cat-c car (DVLA certificate present) from MR2 specialists F.Dickerson and Sons in January 2011. Since then I have enjoyed it mostly as a weekend toy. Recently I have replaced the alternator and had WKB Toyota of Chichester pressure test, drain and flush the cooling system (receipts available). Unfortunately, the recent purchase of my first house means that I can no longer afford the luxury of a second car.

Its been very quiet over the Winter months but summer is almost here now! Lets try and not start this summer with a bang

Ive been speaking to a Daniel Watson from AutosportNorth.com which is based in Merseyside (right next to the Mersey Tunnels). Saturday 30/06/2012 (pending confirmation early next week) is the penciled-in date.

"I have a Dynapack 4000 (1100hp) hub dyno on site, more than happy with Mid-Engined cars (we managed the power verification for the Porsche Cup a few years back) and have two main (4ft) axial fans which are mobile, and two mobile radial (water-wheel style) fans that can cool pritty much anything! The reason being, most of my work is with the Lotus Elise/Exige, so having good cooling for mid-engines is a priority!

We're located in a quiet estate just off the Dock road, in wallasey - Very easy access from the M53 (2 minutes from Junction 1). The Postcode is CH41 1JJ. Also, only 5 minutes from the King and Queensway mersey tunnels.

What I like about this Dyno, is they take the Drive wheels off the car and attach the dyo directly to the Hub of the car.
ALSO, Autosport North has dealings with Motorcycles, which means it also has a Motorcycle Dyno onsite. I have asked about the usage of this and he's said that it wouldn't be an issue to include Motorcycles in our Dynoday should any wish to take part

PRICES are as follows:
Cars (2wd only) - �25
Bikes - �20
A non refunable deposit of �10 per vehicle to be paid on a first come first serve basis (tbc how)
Limited to 15 cars AND 8 bikes at the moment (If enough interest, we may be able to raise that limit but only if enough interest)

Naturally, this meet is OPEN to Mk1club, ROC, IMOC members and Close Friends should they wish to attend. Although, I will only be using this website to post details.
