The
crystal block that was on display at the JAE this year and is pictured below is
a new annual prize for the best article submitted and published in the club
magazine covering the four issues between the JAE event each year. The prize
will be held by the winner for one year and must be returned to the club
chairman at least two weeks prior to the next JAE.
The club Chairman will judge the published entries each quarter and the prize will be
presented at each JAE for the best one. The first presentation will be in 2007.
It is hoped that the availability of this prize will promote the presentation of many
good articles for the magazine. Articles on your experiences with your Mk1
whether at shows, on runs or carrying out renovations are needed to give the
club magazine an added sparkle and to put forward a little competition for the
club membership.
Attendance at club events by the majority of club members is I am afraid very poor so here
is your chance to put your mark in the magazine and to win a prize to boot.
