Here we have a refurbished set of valve covers. I haven't done any for a while because of the appalling weather we've had and basically no motivation to do any! But since my mot is coming up I need to raise some dollar :D

I have painted the '16 valve' lettering blue to suit the cars made between '85 to late '86 which was described as the 'blue top' engine, but many of you know this already :+:

Right so, stripped these back to bare metal using a mixture of elbow grease and nitromores and sand paper! 2-3 coats of grey plastikote primer then followed up by 2-3 coats of smooth silver hammerite aerosol paint. No lacquer on these as I haven't mastered how to effectively use it yet (sounds stupid I know).

Pictures will be uploaded at lunchtime today :)

These will also be on eBay but are cheaper on here for you :)

£35.00 + £8.00 postage - no gaskets included

Hello,

I have a pair left yes, but whoever owned them before me has ground the '16 valve' letters off so it only reads 'toyota' and 'twin cam'. But its a pretty good finish IMO no grinding disc marks. I'll post a photo up of them later.

I have painted the letters that are on there in white, but can sand them down and paint them to either black, red or blue for you.

Sorry for the delay mate here you go:

I gave the 'toyota' cover a fresh lick of paint this morning as it was looking a bit sorry for itself.

I did notice that on the 'toyota' cover one of the holes will need drilling out as there is a stud snapped off inside. I may get this spark eroded but that wont feature in the price :+:

I should be getting a hold of another 2 sets in a fortnight so if you're still interested, let me know what colour lettering you would like and I will hold a set for you.
