I decided its time to sell my sc, simply because its just not getting the use it deserves
The color is completely original and very rare. Had the engine out recently to do the timing
belt and decided to replace camshaft and crankshaft oil seals, it also had distributer oil seal replaced, while I was at it I decided to recondition the rocker covers. I also gave the car a full respray due to bad lacker peal and replaced all the stickers which I bought on ebay from crazylegs. She has a new set of 15" alloys which cost 750 euros. New front valences due to curb damage. Just had engine oil and gear oil replaced(redline mt-90). I've pumped alot of time and money into getting this car up to this standard. The only thing the car needs is to top up the supercharger oil which I will do.
The previous owner added the following
TRD LSD
KYB GAS shocks
Water pump
200mm Flywheel
200mm uprated cover assembly
200mm sprung paddle cerrametalic drive plate
Linear spring kit
Water pump
This bill came to £1447.53
I am advertising the car elsewhere for 6000 euros but will sell to a club member for
5000 euros as I know it will be going to a good home.
Any questions please ask. Tel. 087 2690044

That's a lovely looking car. I've just bought the blue one a couple of threads down - If I hadn't I'd be after this one like a shot - love the colour. How would using it in the UK work? would you have to import the car to get it onto a UK plate?

This is torturing me.

I so want this car. How much do you think I would get for my 12 year old son? He is house trained..

As far as I'm aware there is no charge on importing a car from Ireland to the UK, You would just have to pay for your UK plate. I'm not 100% sure on how it works over there. :? :+: Glad you like the car :+: :+:

Hi is this car still for sale?
I live in Cork an currenly own a 87 blue mk1 mr2.
Thing is I am saving for a re-spray (savings took a hit cos bought nnew alloys :) )and lookin at a supercharger conversion for my own car.
Apart from minor paint work, which the re-spray would sort, - the car is perfect.
Would you be interested in mine and all the money I saved?
Twud be a JOB DONE kinda thing for me

Ya, the car is still for sale. Really would prefer just cash for the car. But I would consider it depending on how much cash you have saved up :) . Trade in price would have to be 6000 euros though. Thanks for the interest :+: :+:

Damn, I want this car.

But I can't justify blowing al my savings on it, especially after I just spend quite a lot on a suspension rebuild. :(

Shame it doesn't have the red/black or leather seats, that would make really make it complete.

Glad you like it :+: :+: . red and black or leather interior would be nice but you are taking away from the original appearance of the car by changing this which would take from the car in my opinion. Each to there own I guess :+: :+:

I've had quite a bit of interest from the UK now but shipping seems to be the main factor in sale of car so I've decided if I get the asking price for my car of 5000 euros I will ship it to your door free of charge. I've just bought a new project and feel this is the fairest way for all those who have shown interest. Once funds are cleared the car is yours. Alternatively if you would like to see car before purchase you can fly directly into Kerry airport, only 5 miles from where I am from and I can arrange to have you picked up. Flights are relatively cheap. Hope this helps.

Hi, I know this thread is pretty old, but is this still for sale?

I already have a relatively low mileage MK1 SuperCharger in need of some bodywork repair, but am weighing up the option of just finishing that car or simply getting a better example.

I'm based in Ireland too, so delivery is not a problem.

Obvious questions, does the car have an NCT?

I will be able to pay straight cash if the car is up to standard and we agree a price, I will not be looking to sell my existing car as I'm confident I can sell that or perhaps even use it as a spares car (though it would be a shame to break, I'd rather sell to someone with more time and skills than me to restore)
