I am selling my Mk1 MR2. 1990 G one of the last ones.
White. Sunroof model.
94K miles, loads of history.
MOT April 2011
Tax Oct 2010.
Had service and cambelt by Toyota dealer in May.
Really solid car, immaculate interior, also under bonnet, boot, under boot lining, in door shuts, doors all in excellent condition. Had Toyota check out the underside and they said the floor pan was excellent. Good disks, good wheels. one tyre is wearing on the edge. Good spare but the fitted wheels are a darker silver than standard and the spare.

I bought it in May this year to share with the wife in the summer (what summer?) anyway, in June she decided she wanted a divorce! our home is now sold and I have nowhere to keep the car.

Original owner a lady had the car for 18 years then sold to the person I bought from, a family friend. It was garaged for a couple of years and very few miles. I covered about 1000 miles since May and the car has been 100% reliable. No gearbox issues ( I changed the gearbox oil as a precaution and the old oil was still clear!). There is a slight noise on stone cold startup - pretty sure its a leaking exhaust manifold. The engine runs great, plenty of pull, no issues. The body is all original, there has been some painting done around the wheel arches and front and rear valances but is all solid. The inner rear wheel arches are excellent. There is some corrosion round the outer wheel arches but no need for any repair.

There are some negatives... The bottoms of the front wings have rotted behind the side skirts. I have two used wings (need painting)I was going to fit but circumstances have
changed...
Also the area in front of the rear wheels (behind the sills) has some corrosion.
There is a small hole in the underside of the NS sill at the front. An very basic repair.
I took the side skirts off and found the outer sills are in excellent condition.
The electric aeriel doesn't move up and down.

Currently the side skirts are off.

Am wiling to take £600 for the car with the wings.
A bargain I think.

Based in Warrington / Altrincham Cheshire.

I have taken pictures today without skirts and with them re-fitted.
I have treated the rusted fron of sill areas to prevent further corrosion.

The car is on my mates drive, he doesn;t want it there long term.

Was driving it today great car....

Here are a few pics on Picasa.
