Hi, Here is a 1985 Mk1a finished in blue. It is believed to be one of only 4 in the UK. It is a sunroof model. No engine or gearbox. Otherwise complete. It also has blue/black seats in excellent condition. It had a £1500 resray (in the original blue colour) 4 years ago. Some rust on the bottom of one wing, other is new. Both rear wings are superb.
I can supply an engine and gearbox for £299.

So is it the Sky Blue colour ? You don't see many if it is but there are more that 4. Here is a photo of the one I once owned (shouldn't have sold it  )

If so then IMO the best official colour the Mk1 ever came in, looks the nuts if it still has all the black trim

These are taken on the day I sold it. It had MK1b nuts on which are twice the length !! I think it was because I lost the little black end caps from the origional ones. Should have kept the wheels and sold it with the peperpots from my '89, the mk1a was more balanced in its design IMO. Shame you can't get the tiangle design in the wider wheel for the mk1b !

I love these cars I really do, but absolutely de-test the triangular wheels. My red and black mk1a was not put together well. I hated everything mechanically about that car. It was a pile of pants.
