Sorry on being slow getting these pictures up for sharing, which are all now out-dated as I've been a busy bee since these phot's were taken 8 weeks ago.
But don't worry more phot's of the work done will follow as I'm making a log as I go along which will eventually be shared.

She needs work, without a doubt, but to me she's beautfiull and definately worth saving.

Enjoy guys and girls:

Negatives:
The breaks were destroyed, pads were down to the metal and the rear n/s calliper had been damaged by the disk. The discs were very old, worn and thin. There was some rot in the door arches, and rear arches, and the front wings, another down side was also the fact that the wheels on the car were the wrong size and rubbing on the front wings. The electric Ariel also failed to work, which is a common problem, the glass panel roof was also missing a trim, and the interior was also missing a few bits and pieces.

Positives;
Mechanically the car was strong and had good compression, a fairly good exhaust and the sills and floor pan were clean, as was the front section. It was also relatively rust free on the mechanical side, i.e roll bars, engine, and pipes (Although very dirty). The car also had no problem with 5th gear which again is a common issue.
The car also has a very comprehensive service history up to 162,000 miles including every m.o.t, and service document and a full service book .The clock now shows 169,000 miles. Cam belt was changes at 160,000 miles and a new water pump was put on. A new battery was also put on at 161,000 miles.
