Reluctant Sale - Toyota Mr2 Mk1 T-Bar 1987 Silver

SHOW WINNER

This is incredibly painful as I write this advertisement to sell my pride and joy…..

I bought this car just over 4 years ago when she was in need of a lot of TLC. The work I have carried out over the last four years must equate to many hours of labour, of both anguish and pleasure!

There is nothing that this car hasn’t had and in recognition of this was awarded 2nd best Toyota in June at this years Tatton Park Classic Car Spectacular show.

The car is been garaged for the past 4 years and has a box full of history. The car currently has 5 months MOT and 7 months Tax and is in just wonderful condition.

Over the last four years the car has been fully restored and has included the following:

Body:

Full body repairs including new arches and lower quarter panels
Complete new professional full respray in the original Super Silver
Full new body Decals and striping
Refurbished Front light mechanisms
Brand new Head lights
Brand new Clear front indicator lenses
Brand new Side clear repeaters
Brand new front bumper bar
Brand new Number plates
The underside if this vehicle including all arches and floor pans have been painted in Silver and Waxoiled.

Interior:
Excellent original black leather interior
Brand new Kenwood multi input stereo (original Toyota radio included)
Brand new front 4 inch JBL speakers in Dash
Custom built speaker boxes behind seats fully carpeted with JBL 6x9 speakers
100w Longmill amplifiers fitted under passenger seat

Wheels and Tyres:

Mk3 5 Spoke alloys completely refurbed in original silver
Brand new Kuhmo Sport 185/60/15 tyres all round
5th matching alloy.
Original Teardrops included in sale with okay tyres - would need refurbing.








Suspension and Brakes:

Fully refurbed suspension legs painted in smooth hammerite black
Hardened KYB Shock inserts all round
30mm lowered Jamex springs painted Silver
New bottom ball joints all round
New Torsion stabilizer bars all round
Brand new Goodrich Stainless steel braided brake hoses all round
New Brake pads all round
Drilled/grooved and vented front brake discs
All callipers have been rebuilt with repair kits from brakes international


Engine – Gearbox/Clutch:

New Clutch Master Cylinder
New Clutch Slave cylinder
New Clutch plate/Pressure plate and thrust bearing.
Engine has new head gasket and head gasket kit
Including Dizzy seal
Cam seals
Cam cover gaskets
Valve stem oil seals
All valve re-lapped
New Cam belt
New tensioner
New alternator
New Battery
K&N 57i Kit
Stainless steel exhaust (Down pipe and back box)
Engine fully set up at Toyota main dealer
New Plugs
New Dizzy cap
Rotor Arm
Oil Filter (in last 500 miles)
Red silicon vacuum hoses

The not so immaculate bits:

Very minor scrape on n/s/r arch that I have touched up. (Hardly visible)
Broken Electric window switch Drivers side - (I have spare)
