Finding it hard to get a free weekend for the Yorkshire run out I was thinking about; perhaps put it back to early next year as a cobweb run. :)

Just a reminder that the peak run will be on use very soon, in a couple of weeks and some days. JAE this weekend. Then two weeks the peak run, its all good fun not to be mist. So give it a try. Then on the 17th of October the Lakes outing. Its all for your benefit, So get the pedal to the metal.

hi all , make sure you check your car out for this run ( eg oil , brakes ) . the road rally stages are still included in the run  and are full of twits and turns . don't go on the p*ss the night before has you will be knackered before you start and total wasted at the end .this is a true drives run with road made for the nimble mk1 and its over 160 mile of full on driving and breath taking scenery . add 3 more names to the list please bill .

neil haywood, mr2lisa and andrew mellor .

my brother will be running at the rear he knows the route and will sort out any problems if we get split up ( didn't happen on the last run ) but has been added has a fail safe due to the numbers attending . i im looking forward on taking you all on another blast through the peaks and it will be fun, fun , fun .

Hi all,

Sorry for the late notice but I'm going to have to drop out. I enjoyed a bit too much food and drink in France last week on holiday and have to keep the wife happy by not putting too much fuel in the mr2 for a month or so, hehe.

I hope you all have a good run, the last one was really good!

See you all around.

Cheers,
Tom

Sorry to do this but I'm not going to make it tomorrow. Was hoping to be back home tonight after visiting a sick relative but that's not going to happen. I'm sure I'll miss a great day out.

Have fun y'all.

Just made it home at 8pm - 385 miles door to door!!!

Thanks Gary for a superb run - drove through places I had not been to since I was a kid on days out with my Gran and Grandad - Matlock and Chatsworth for sure - not been over the Cat and Fiddle for years and I had quite forgotten what great scenery you have down there.

Good to see everybody - thanks for the company. Cheers to Bill for gathering all the names and keeping us co-ordinated!!!

May just re-think the route for the Lakes run in October slightly since I now know what tough competition it is up against.

Hope to see as many as possible in the Lakes on the 17th October.

Just want to say thanks again for a great day out.

Gary, great route mate, good to know that you can still have some fun in the Peaks without worrying about speed cameras. Hope your car got you home alright.

Bill, thanks for helping me start my car, feel guilty now about making a man with a wheelchair give me a push start!

hi all , I'm glad you all enjoyed the route and all got home safe . there still is alot of top drivers roads in the peaks where you can get you foot down safely and not get penalized for it,and the best bit is no one knows about these roads unless they are local and then you have to go looking for them as the best are off the beaten track has we went on today  top , top fun . the car got me home no problem Ian ,will sort out oil leak , blowing manifold stuck thermostat and damaged front splitter ( jump going through edale. oops )Monday ,the 170 mile route sorted out the weak points on the rebuilt engine  ( 30 mile tested before run ) .did anyone get a picture of the dog again , he must have remembered us from last time ,this time he moved  . looking forward to the lakes run in October see you all there. and hopefully a Fully road tested car
