For info -

This car originates from Ropley Toyota in Hants.

It has clearly belonged to a member of this MK1 MR2 owners club previously, it does have the club badge on the windscreen.

I actually bought it from the previous owner who resided in Colchester & who had advertised it on this very site.

No doubt some of you good people may have seen it in the 'flesh' at a meet somewhere in the past.

It is in seriously good condition & a credit to all who have looked after it.

Cheers. :+:

Cheers, kind of you to take the time to appreciate my MK1.

Some more photo's added, to let all see how clean this actually is.

I don't expect it will be for sale too long either.

It could be yours.... :shh:

In response to an earlier PM enquiry where I was asked to describe the condition of this car...

I'd have to describe it as very very close to show condition.

Hope this helps those interested.

Had a geeza view the car today, said he couldn't fault it & has offered me £2800!

Reason being and thing is he is still to sell his own vehicle and wants me to take mine off the market until he gets the cash from his sale.

Not willing to take the chance though, talk is cheap.

Reckon it may take him a while to offload his own too as it's a tired old Land Cruiser.

I wish I'd said in my advert, 1st to see will buy.....

Or should I have said - 1st to see would like to buy!

Never mind. ;) ;)

Personally I'd keep it on the market - the first person with the money in my hand gets the goods when I sell stuff.

But that's just me ;)

Spent all day claying the Mk1 & re-applying some Zymol concours glaze.

Some additional pics added.

What do you think?

Any takers??

My Mk1 is so good, that if it was sitting with half the mileage I'd be asking for twice the price.

As you can see from the pics, it is totally mint.

Why am I selling, I hear some question, and rightly so.

Well... my lovely wife advises me one of my treasures needs to go and it wont be her, or my prize possession....

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x

Hope you like it.

Some more photos.

Might as well, it was a long though enjoyable days work detailing the little gem!

If these dont temp anyone I'm afraid it will be placed in the Autotrader soon.

Would have preferred to sell to a real enthusiast, and not just anyone.

Regards, :) :) :)

Now advertised in Auto Trader.

Not entirely sure if I want to sell it now.... if you know what I mean.

If I "have" to keep it, it will certainly be difficult to convince the wife that I'm disappointed. ;)

Having just had my beloved '89 Mk1 T-bar very badly smashed by a white van, but thankfully I survived with my life - and that of my wife, but it is going to cost a fortune if it could be rebuilt, even if parts can be found, so I wonder if your very attractive Mk1 is still available, and what sort of price are you asking for it.
I think it should be a far, far better bet than a rebuild of mine will be, though I've loved mine for the past 14 years!.
Thank you for information.

Sorry old chap, car sold to one very happy enthusiast.

Good old Auto trader - you cant beat it for an advertising medium.

Top dollar achieved too, although the buyer agreed he'd bagged a good'un!

Good Luck with your search.
