White T bar C19xxx parked on Bold Lane.

I spoke to the new owner. Not club member, but told him to look us up. Car was clean with usual rear wings prob just showing, but full leather and looked stock. Guy saved it from being scrapped. Paid £40!! put in exchange gear box and new starter motor and away he goes. What chance price escalation?

C-reg T-bar? Wow. Either that's a private plate, or the earliest T-bar I've heard of (Mk1a didn't come in T-bar form).

Hadn't thought of that. Made a full note of the plate. otherwise 1b, side vents front splitter etc. And it had leather. We think ours is "crossover" on Aug D plate with leather and 1a engine. Hopefully the owner will sign up and we can learn more. If I see him again I will nail it!

leather wasn't even an option on early cars, only came when the tbars came.
it must be a private plate
