These Stoner cars are looking fantastic, we would love to get a few together on the stand at the NEC Classic this year in November if anyone would be interested, possibly looking at 5 racing MK1's, would be a good opportunit to promote the series for the following year too :+: we would be happy to give you corner of our stand for this very thing.

Contact me if interested

Quick question. Are all these cars with the cool livery actually sponsored by the relevant companies? Gulf, YouTube etc?

cannot vouch for the "Youtube" car but the others, no although they have been approved by the relevant people to carry the livery.

but the main reason is to help raise the profile of the mr2 racing series now, it originally started as one person wanting his favourite livery on his car....now its a competition in itself within the paddock we are all having such a hoot and we haven't finished yet still more specials to come!

plus what a spectacle on the grid, it will look fabulous with our TV coverage this year these cars will be so cool don't you think?

and the drivers are not just new drivers and want a novelty some of these guys & girls are quick

Absolutely agree with you. It's great to see the effort being made with the paintwork. it must be time consuming enough repairing and prepping the car for races without worrying about decals and colour schemes :)

Would love to have a go myself. Anyone need ideas I'm pretty handy with photoshop!

Maybe one day stoner racing will actually put a sun strip on the correct way up

Makes you wonder what other "great detail" has gone into the car prep when they can't work out that sun strips are curved to follow the roof line

I know LOL
I guess this is because he has printed onto a straight strip, not allowing extra width for tailoring aroung the curve.

the TSS strips were like this too, unless you jiggled it a bit
