Hi all

I initially joined the MR2 Owners Club Forum. However, since buying a MKIb last Saturday, I think you're all going to find me on here a fair bit.

Car data:
Year: 01/05/1988
Model: MK1b, sunroof model
Colour: Super White
Interior: Blue
Mileage:86,555 approx. FSH, all MOTS, invoices etc.
Owners: 4 previous
MOT: November 2009
Tax: June 2009

Great car, everything works. Some stuff to be sorted and I will post some questions in the right area of this site. No pics yet, to follow...

It's my weekend car as the soft-roader does the trips to Waitrose, Garden Centre, Recycling Centre etc. With a massive difference in mpg over my 1990 BMW, it's a better ownership proposition for someone living in London.

Pics will be posted once she's sorted. Needs a few jobs doing but all in good time.

When I lived in London, I had a white 1990 TBar and it was probably the best car for London, nippy, fast, light and small. Except for the lack of PAS.

Why don't you bring it up the A10 on the 15th February to meet some other Mk1 owners?

Thanks for the welcome folks :+:

I did spot this and I would love to come to the event on the 15th.

However, I have someone coming over from Italy to stay on the 14th until the 15th and it would be rude to leave. I'll try to find out what time she's leaving :shh: and see what I can do.

What time is this event scheduled to start and end?

Starting around 1p.m and finishing when last person leaves, as it is first one, I don't know how long that will take.

Hope you can make it, the drive up from your area won't be too long, maybe good even if it is just a brief visit.

Folks, I will do my best.

It's been a while since I've been to a meet. I used to go to German Night on the last Monday of each month at Ace Cafe. I also used to go to an E30 meet at Lakeside every other month.

I'm time-poor these days with lots of travel through work and study....anyway, I will try.

Folks

I am not going to get to this meet this weekend  I am time-poor at the moment and I have to be at work on Sunday, not fun but it's got to be done.

I will look out for the next one and try to be there.

Pics now added.

Where do I get some good quality interior mats that fit properly?

Where do I get a gear lever gaitor in blue leather?

Does anyone have a set of wheels in very good condition they are prepared to sell to me?

Those are top quality wheels I'll have you know! For a rover anyway...
Pistol Pete has them at the moment, then as far as I know Tiny is next. Not sure where they're going after that though, maybe pm Tiny and call dibs on next in the que :+:
