how about this one again this year. its small but has loads of brilliant cars.
the event would be best with a smaller number of cars, say 6 really nice ones. have a look and see what you all think. i arranged it last year and have made an early enquiry for this year.
http://www.elvethamheathcarshow.co.uk/index.html
would all who are interested please put a name down provisionally.

this is the latest email I have telling us a bit more about this years show.check out the web site.
It will be the 6th year of the Elvetham Heath Car Show on July 19th, 2009, and I would like to extend an invite to the MR2 MK1 Club to attend this year’s event..

If you can attend, please could you let me know as soon as, in that I can have your club hosted on the attendees list on the front page of our web site and have a link back to yours.

The event has been organized to provide a great day out for all the family...Available to see will be some the latest dealership models, rallying, prestige, BTCC, WTCC, race prepared, through to the finest examples of historic cars, as well as many Owners clubs who regularly attend the event, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, GT40, AC Cobra, Aston Martin Racing DBR9, etc.

As well as all the cars and motorbikes, there will be many stalls providing motoring interest, entertainment and refreshment throughout the event.
There is a raffle on the day and a brochure, and with the money raised, it will be split between the Macmillan Cancer Relief and the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice plus other local charity organisations.

This is a non profit event and free admission.

Kev

I would come to this but we go on our hol to Wales on Monday 20th and should be taking my MK1 so don't want to risk anything to far the day before.

Altho if my other half manages to get his one sorted and nothing else goes wrong we could come in that - but the luck he's having with it means I won't guarantee a thing with that one.

I regret I am going to have to cancel as well. My dad has booked my flight tickets for annual family holiday to Italy and they are on the 19th.

Whilst i wanted to attend this show, I think most people will admit that in a choice between a day's car show and 2 weeks free holiday on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, Italy wins!

I will be attending other events through the Summer.

we can meet up just off the M3 there is a garage and hotel/diner I will ask them and get back.

12th July 2009, 05:30 PM
I will be at the Inn keepers lodge hotel/ Harvester Restaurant/ Total garage just of junction 4a M3. Coming from London you follow the signs for Fleet and it is on the second roundabout. I will be there at 8. 15 and we will LEAVE at 8.30. If you wish to come along later they want people in by 10.
If you decide to make your own way there then have a look at the website http://www.elvethamheathcarshow.co.uk/EH_location.htm
This shows a map and gives directions. I will be following number three generally but with some changes that I think make it easier.
Please email me at crazylegskev@msn.com or PM me if you need anything else.
This is an event that is totally FREE but is run to raise money for charity so anyone with a doable idea please let me know.

Kev, As I coming from the west, heading eastbound, I will find my own way to the site.
Also, its 107 miles from my place  which will take about 2 hours. I will leave here sevenish, so expect me around nine, or there abouts.
Leave a bit of space for me, please.
See you there.

dont worry if you are a bit later. they were letting cars in upto and a bit after 10 last year. its just the earlier we get there the better the pitch. it would be nice to have yours up front as i want a nice one of each colour if poss.
