Hi guys,
Well I've been eagerly anticipating the new club website, and have been humming and ha-ing for ages as to whether I wanted to join up or not. Anyway, I have to say I'm really impressed with the new site, so I've just paid up and thought I'd announce it to the world

I've got a 1989 white mk1 T-bar, I've had it since June and all it's needed to date is a new radiator. I've got a few plans lined up for when the weather warms, mostly involving surface rust at the valances and a quest for new wheels, but in the meantime it's my daily drive and it's done me proud!

Here's some pics:

Time for an update, and a few pics while it's sunny.

It has now been lowered on some Jamex springs, also has new discs and pads and some refurbished engine mounts. I've also got an Elise rear box to go on, so more updates will follow :D

Nice one Ben, looking good. :+:

Will you be getting rid of your current exhaust when you get the Elise one on? If so I'd be interested!

PM me about the exhaust. :)

Cheers
Tom

What do you mean you have changed the wheels? They look the same to me.

Oi! :o
I spent ages trawling the ads for a set of wheels I could afford!

At least these have the correct-sized tyres on them :D

Surely you were a little sad to see those rover alloys go?

A little perhaps, but it cheers me to know they have a new lease of life as the club spare wheels

I do admit, your car is looking very nice now. Almost as good as Miss April!

Not visually. New Suspension bushes, new brake calipers, new distibutor cap and new engine stuff. Will have 4 completely new brakes very soon but none of that is on show.

Got few new bits for the interior but exterior looks exactly the same as it does in the calendar. Apart from it needs a bit of a wash at the moment. :?
