View Full Version : OULTON PARK, HSCC GOLD CUP, WEEKEND 24th-26th August 2019

9th February 2019, 12:05 PM
The HSCC Gold Cup weekend is Oulton Park's premier event.

Classic and Historic, sports cars, F5000, Formula Junior, Touring cars, Formula Ford and F3000, GT cars etc, etc, the list goes on. All racing on track!

Off track, classic and supercar shows, demonstrations and attractions. A must for all petrol heads.

Trade stalls and entertainment for all the family and camping if you want it!

Go to the MSV website and check it out. (It's cheaper than Silverstone too)

I have organised a club allocation for 10 cars on all 3 days.
If you only intend to visit for one day, PLEASE ONLY SELECT THAT DAY, leave space for someone else.

Registration includes FREE entry for car and driver, for your chosen days.
I'm afraid any additonal driver or passenger must pay the appropriate ticket price which can be obtained, in advance at a discount, or on the gate.

The procedure is the same as for all MSV events, as follows.

Select the venue from the map(Oulton park)
Click on the event (GOLD CUP 24th-26th August)
Select "classic car displays"
Select More information under "Club applications"
Scroll down to "apply for club registration"
Then select "Toyota MR2 Mk1 Club" from the list.

You will now have to register for an account, unless you already have one, (don't worry it only costs time)

In your account accept the Ts&Cs then select display vehicle with club (Toyota MR2 Mk1 Club) from list
select your prefered day, you will see the cars listed. (when it's full it's full!!)
You can then add your car details and photo if you wish.
check and submit request and you're registered.

You will soon recieve an acceptance email, you can then order any extra tickets, camping or upgrades if you want.

Sorry it seems a bit of a faff but if I can do it anyone can

I hope to see you there

I can't / won't make all 3 days. Shall we pick just one day and go big on one particular day?

What day works for everyone else? Bill, Jonathan, thoughts?

Yes.. Maybe we can see whats on for a particular day and pick the best day of entertainment. Maybe give vintage steamroller racing a miss, but pick fire breathing Triumph Heralds instead ?

:) :) :) :)

What's wrong with vintage steamrollers?

1st May 2019, 07:00 AM

So have we decided on what particular day we want to attend?

How about 26th?

2nd May 2019, 04:10 PM
Monday 26th has the "Mega Supercar Monday"

Where Supercars join the classics

Could be a better day as a result - then again I am not really that into supercars as I cant afford to own one!

There will probably only be 3 of us again anyway because we don't have many enthusiastic Northwest members

10th May 2019, 08:21 AM
So shall we book Monday then?

3rd June 2019, 01:18 PM
