Hi, this is Martyn, finally got the car I loved as an 18 year old back in September, its a MK1 b in ice blue pearl T bar with leather which appears to be a rare colour ?? 99k miles and probs done around 5k in the last 10 years, its a great looking car with mostly original panels etc and garaged most of its life as it is now in my double, MOT in 4 weeks time so its gonna be interesting, ive got a small amount of welding to do but its out of sight so no paintwork issues and cambelt needed asap so if anyone can suggest someone local at a fair price it could come in handy and also need to either replace or remove brake shields.

Welcome to the club, your probably not to far away from Paul woods at Woodsport his work is good quality if hes not to busy :)

There is a lakes district run this weekend get your name down and come say hello, would love to see the car.

Welcome to the forums! :)

I've adjusted your image links so that they are URL's, as the embedding wasn't working. :+:

cheers, after delving deeper into the service history ive discovered the last cambelt change was at 57k in 1994 - shock horror!!!!

Ive been in touch with Paul Woods at Woodsport who is gonna do it for £80 v.soon and a bonus is he is only 16 miles from me.
