Not an original, but an SC engine in a mk1a shell.

That rust doesn't look very nice....not easy to tackle some of that

I saw this the other day and it looked a half descent project until i saw the front chassis and its fooked . i wouldn't tackle it as it looks like its rotted inside the leg and a lot of work to put right if it can be fixed . Its worth a bit more than scrap value due the the SC engine BUT 100% not worth saving in money terms to put it right .

Shame its not an automatic. I keep looking out for a auto supercharger project.

There was one floating around ebay for a month or so. It didn't sell for £800. Was complete except engine lid which he sold separately.
It's now being broken up unfortuantely

Yea i saw it but sadly couldnt get it at the time, think it had only done 60k aswell.

The supercharger in question was from Nottingham I think? Mica blue? I looked at it but it was a category c write off (which he didn't state until I done a check) and the engine wouldn't start due to the alternator packing up. Think it got broken up for the engine.

Aye thats the one
Its a shame to see it get broken been such an uncommon car in the uk.
