Just been browsing eBay and seen this very odd looking JDM Toyota for sale.

Never seen one before in the UK.

Love the oddball looks, butterfly doors and big rear glass hatch.

It doesn't look very exciting to drive, but for the fact that it's so different and there won't be many in the UK, it's probably worth it.

Anybody on the forum ever seen or driven or even owned one before?

There were a few of them at JAE,I had a look at them and was not impressed,also read a few bad reviews on them,hence the rarity.

Bet the doors are to high to be used in a standard uk garage.

yes import model 1500 and auto there is also the paseo which had the same 1500 twin cam engine about 89 bhp but that came in manual I have had one of those nice little car very nippy due to weight

There's a green one used daily on my road! Suffers from rust as much as the mr2 I think!

There was a chap on Toymods who converted one to electric power if I remember rightly. Quite cool in a left field sort of way.
