It is a 1MZ-FE V6 with a custom supercharger set up with 289bhp ATW, full rollcage and a Dash2 digi-dash car is on R888's.
The plan is to use the car for road and track.

The car has a bit of rust though at the bottom of the B pillar and a little on the rear arches and I have already set to chopping this out.

Future plans after this bodywork is complete is to fit bucket seats, a flocked dash and a bit of aero to help downforce at the front and get a couple of trackdays done to see how it goes!

Really happy with it so far, I love old school japanese cars.

I have had a lot of Honda Type R's (S2000/DC5/CRX/DC2) an Impreza STi, a few fast clios and an M3 before this, but this is the first time ive had a Toyota MR2 :)

Ahhhh you bought it. Excellent stuff. Glad you signed up here. What a beauty of a machine you have there. Great price considering all the work that was done to it! Hopefully the rust isn't too bad and you can get her back on the road pronto

Yes I did :)

Think its brilliant, its a real beast of a machine. Im just trying to get to grips with cars with non-power steering again! Gotta love 3 point turns!

Just waiting for payday so i can get my welding supplies and I will be on with it sharpish...

I want to get it MOT'd on track before we run out of sun!

Hi , very nice car and a beast  This would be a perfect run for your car http://www.mr2mk1club.com/showthread.php?16889-Pennine-Run-28th-June . there will be another v6 car on the run owned by our chairman Tom and seeing as this is wood sport country it would be rude not to attend .

Cheers Gary, i have replied on that thread - its a bit of a long shot for me to be honest as i only get back off my Honeymoon on the 27th from the US and ive no idea if the car will be in a fit state by then either!

Ill do my best though.
