The MR2 Kent run will be on Sunday 12th April 2015. The run starts at the Eureka Leisure Park in Ashford adjacent Junction 9 of the M20. Post Code is TN25 4BN. We will be meeting in the car park between Burger King and the Travelodge. The run will commence at 11.30am but please be there at least an hour earlier so we can hand out directions and answer any queries. The total distance of the run is approx 65 miles and it will finish by 4.00pm near enough where it started in Ashford so easy access to the M20 for your journey home.

Anyone coming?

Hi Alan. As long as it is dry, I should be there!

Indeed. Whether my car will have the fuel tank back into it by then remains to be seen! Let's hope so...

I wish... Unfortunately running is the only way I'd get round at the moment. Maybe next year.

DC - you got your fuel leak fixed then? What was it?

Wow race against time to fit your fuel tank. I wish you luck.

I dropped my mr2 off tonight ready for its mot tomorrow so as long as it passes then I will be attending on Sunday.

Fingers crossed Stuart. Be annoying if both cars were off the road!

Hi Sweatpea. Yeah decided to get it looked at properly. It is as we had originally suspected - fuel sender unit gasket. I'm just waiting to hear whether just the gasket can be replaced because Toyota seemed to think it couldn't be, which would be annoying. However, the chap doing the work hasn't alluded to that - surely it would be possible to just do the gasket without having to replace the whole unit?! I'll post an update on the original thread once finalised!

Adjusted the handbrake then put through the mot and passed with no advisories :-) Another year of classic motoring

Well recognised :-) I'm glad you like them.

To quote a famous mechanic:

"Aesthetically speaking wheels are the most important thing on a car and on a sports car they are only second to the engine"
