Details about the mk1.
I got the car 9 years ago and it has always been garaged. It was a auto but I changed it to a manual last year;
I put the 5th higher gear conversion in the gearbox, I also changed the engine for a small port head one that I removed form a
Corolla gti that had 70K on the speedo 130 bhp , New front Discs and pads and rear also hand brake cables, I will put 12 months mot
on the car, the alloys come with the car, It has new speakers and radio,
In in 2008 I changed the speedo that had 111101 kilometres that about 69k miles on it for a normal second hand one so from 2009 the speedo was 116834miles to the present day 120501 miles that is only 3667 miles in that period, there is a head light modification
giving better headlights, I fitted a new radiator some years back, the tyres are fine, I had always had second mk1 that was a manual
that why the mileage has been low, but it is now time for it to go.
If you need more information please phone me, there is also a new clutch fitted there is a stainless exhaust also.

hi all , this is a very nice clean mk1 and a very good buy . i can 100% vouch for the condition of the floor pans and chassis they are excellent , rust free and never been welded .The t bar seals have also been replace with new items . what bill has failed to say this is a g limited na spec with factory brake light spoiler , folding mirrors ,supercharger rear lights ,its also an original 2 tone car . If you want a meticulously well looked after mk1 this is the car for you but be quick when its gone its gone .

The car had air con, but the condenser Is US, You will not get one in the UK, So I removed the pump from the engine, but I still have it.

ok so all I potentially need is to source a condenser and it could have aircon up and running once the pump is re installed ?

I found a firm in the U/S abou 2 months ago that will supply one for about £120.

http://www.rockauto.co.uk.

so it should work with the old gas.

In 2007 A refrigeration engineer put in ISCEON 49 GAS, THIS GAS was for running old type fridges that where on the old gas.
I have no idea about the new gases. you would new seals all-round.
