Hi all,

Two-Brutal have kindly offered to share their JAE (Japanese Auto Extravaganza) pitch with the Mk1 club this year.

For those that don't know what JAE is, it is basically the ultimate Japanese Car Show. All the cars on display are Japanese and there are usually some very special examples. There are normally plenty of MR2's in attendance spread across the various clubs; IMOC, MR2OC, Two-Brutal etc. As well as all the cars that are on display, there are lots of competitions and other fun events going on throughout the weekend that you can either take part in or just go along to have a laugh.

Tickets can be purchased directly from JAE at the below url:

http://www.japcarclub.org/index.php/ticket

They are priced at £35 if you're planning on arriving on Thursday 4th or £30 if you plan to arrive on the Friday or Saturday. The ticket price includes camping!

If you're planning on going, you can either pop your name down in this thread or over on the Two-Brutal thread here (http://www.twobrutal.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?22393-JAE-2014-Attendance-List-4th-7th-Sept)

Further details can be found from the JAE website - http://www.japcarclub.org/

So, who's in? I for one, will be attending!

Cheers,
Tom

Just back from Jae for the day , with the Mr2 completing it first long run and completing 190 miles with out missing a beat.
Only a few mk1's there , photos attached ,and talking to people at the clubs they seem to be a bit of a diminishing breed, even though this event continues to grow with everything japanese.
Any good chance to catch up with my celiac chums and the mr2 excels on the twisty roads over the cotswolds. Must admit i don't think I would want to do too many miles on the motorway as it starts to get a bit noisy at 75mph plus.
There was a post about the tvis kicking in or not, on my car there is a noticeable surge over 4700rpm which i guess how it should be.
Came home with the roof out on the tbar on a glorious day , hope the sun keeps shining till it goes away for the winter.

Malcolm.

It was a good show; very lively!

I had my stripped out Mk1 over on the Two-Brutal / Mk1 Clubstand.

Hopefully we'll get a few more Mk1'ers going next year! :D
