Hi, purchased 1985 MR2 two weeks ago with a friend to enter into hill climbs and sprints. Was a backup car for a MR2 circuit race car, but was not raced. Has roll cage, race harness and seat, stripped out interior, stiffer springs, 1b discs, running on wheels similar to minilites with Silerstone FTZ for dry days and Oz 15" race wheels with Toyo T1R's for wet and marginal days. Currently the car is road legal, and we are preparing it to meet regulations for C2 class. First year will be getting used to it and making improvements and see how we do.
Tips and advice on tuning without too much cost would be appreciated.

PS I used to own a nearly new one in 1988, and really appreciated the handling which is why we went for one to race.
