View Full Version : Lots of leftovers ready to go

Hi all. I've been clearing out the garage today and I'm ready to shift some leftovers from the swap. There are no nice upgrades or fancy bits, just lots of crap that probably won't sell!

I also have a set of teardrops that aren't in the pictures. They are black, in need of a refurb with no tyres. £50? I also still have those nice compomotives. See my other sale thread for those.

Those aluminium pipes are 50mm ID. The bag of wires is the old mk1 loom, full of plugs. The cog driven speedo drive is from the stock rev2 mk2 gearbox. The other is from an st185 gt4 (I THINK). The fans are 14", 12" and 9".

If you see anything you need gimme a shout. Cheers!

How much would you like for the 9" fan? I'm thinking of heat-soak prevention for when I go big pulley on the SC...

Jawa, it's a proper HKS jobby with a hardly-used HKS element replacement. £20 posted. I forgot to throw a ruler over it but I think the neck is about 80mm.

Ben, £15 posted.

Yep, it worked fine the last time it was on. £20 posted.

Ooh, ooh, I didn't see the mudflaps - I'm guessing they are in superwhite 040 - though hopefully no one will be able to tell that they are a different shade to me...how much with the aerial with the mudflaps?

I have got mine on, but they have rust stained and are crazed and I can't be bothered to respray them...

Sorry to be annoying but I'm going to have to post these bits tomorrow morning. I got a slot in for my 3" pipework to get done today. Apologies all.

No worries mate, it won't be fitted for a little while anyway!

Ok, so the 9" fan, radio aerial, pair of mudflaps and rear aw11 springs have been sent out.

It's a start, but there's still plenty left to go folks!

I've got something else to add to the pile now. The very very nearly new 2" exhaust. The rear section has been made for the aw11 and the tail pipes look very original. For it to fit the 4age you will need to weld onto the backbox inlet (I had to chop it to fit in the car) and then weld on the appropriate flange for the 4age downpipe. It come with a brand new flexi too.

I'm open to offers on this one.

Are they boost pipes? How much for the lot (including the elbow thingy)?

chief44

Hullo there. Are you just after the aftermarket pipes, or are you wanting the stock mk2 pipe too (from the turbo to the intercooler)?

The aftermarket pipes are 50mm ID, with 51mm ID joiners. Some have been chopped up, some are intact. The one on the far left is from the mk2 (intercooler to throttle body. Also been shortened.)

Those 4 complete pipes sell for £10 each on ebay.

Everything in the red circle for £60 posted?

I need it for a Saab engined Astra - there is no room to fit the intercooler and need a bit of luck with extra piping! I'll check the bore, but I do think it's 52mm.
Is that a charge cooler on the right?

How much for a wheel nut.?

chief44
5th September 2013, 08:50 PM
Station, that's fine. The silicone joiners will stretch to 52mm easily. No, that's a mk2 intercooler bonded onto a steel box. I used to have it in my boot but have now moved to a chargercooler setup.

Kekkers, sorry I'm not splitting the wheelnuts. Once one has gone the others will take donkeys to shift.

Cheers,
Ben.

How much for a wheel nut.?

I 'think' I have a few in the garage, but I'm out of the country until 11th October, if you still need one after that time send me a PM & I'll have a look.

Hi Charlie. Yup, both the 12" and 14" are still available. Pretty sure there are no fittings though. If I find em I'll throw them in, but I'm doubtful.
Either one, £15 posted.

Cheers!
