You'll get a very good UK Mk1 for your £3k.

You may also find an import supercharger.

Buying guide here:

Try a wanted advert.

JAE is a great show to come to, it's in September in Northamptonshire.

Some pictures of your old XR2 would be great!

Welcome along

Ollie

I paid quite a bit more than £3000 for mine in January but it has had a near £30,000 restoration and is pretty close to as new condition. It's the same as anything else you get what you pay for!! Mine's on youtube if you type in toyota mr2 mk1b t-bar restoration. P.S i was looking for absolutely ages for a mint car, probably the best part of a year.

welcome to the forum and good luck. There's still a few good ones around. And thanks to the efforts of Gary and many other dedicated souls, the numbers are rallying!

Hi There and Welcome!

I too am looking for one and have been for some time....i am being pretty specific about my requirements though so its my own fault i have not found one yet ;-)

Although a little over your budget, check this one out. It does look amazing condition and all original (unrestored) which is rare.

Good luck!

Yeah, that £10k one is a tad optimistic! Plenty around at the moment though, I have a saved search set up on eBay and there seem to be plenty of reasonable looking ones for around the £1500-£2000 mark :)
