I am due to have my powerflow exhaust repaired at the flexi whilst the engine is out - its a bit lairy and much louder than a Janspeed exhaust. It is heavier than other exhausts i've had such as Mongoose and Janspeed too. It's also a bugger to fit as it's got square hangers for the round holes in the exhaust mounts grrr, but once fitted it sounds awesome and has a really aggressive stance.

If you are interested I'll sort out the repair and let me know how much you are willing to spend.

Thanks for the replies gents.

Superwhite90 - although it looks great and I bet it sounds great, the exhaust isn't for me as I'm looking for the minimum of fuss when it comes to fitting it to the car, but thanks for taking the time to post the images.

Charged - thanks for posting the link - I am currently in negotiations for an exhaust so the hunt could be over, fingers crossed!

Hi Paul, I've got an no-name aftermarket stainless steel exhaust on mine at the moment, but am looking to swap it back to a standard one I've got sat in my garage. You can have the aftermarket one for the cost of taking it to my local mechanic and getting them switched over. If you're interested I'll get a quote from him for doing it but I doubt it'll be much. It's in perfect nick, just too noisy for my 120 mile/day commute! I'm down in Herts so would be a bit of a drive for you to come and get it, let me know. ta

You got any pictures of this Chris?

Hatfield isn't too far for me to come n get it?

Three exhausts may sound overkill but my Janspeed needs some remedial work too lol

That's okay Paul - I'm a pro at fitting it as it came off half a dozen times but I know the agro it would cause someone who has never fitted it before, so no worries

^ If Alex doesn't want it, I'm live between St Albans and Hatfield and would be happy to come and take it away. I have a standard system which I'm looking to change

Cheers

They're showing Chris. I'll definitely take it if Alex can't. I'm 2 mins away from Hatfield but will have to pop down in my Passat rather than the Mk1 I guess!

Ok well Alex has first refusal then. Nope, it'll fit in the mk1 (though it is a little dirty). If you definatly want it I'll find out how much it'll cost for my guy to swap them over and let you know.

I would have thought BigP should really get first refusal as it is his thread ?

I won't be able to fit it any time soon so I'm out. That looks kind of like a mongoose to me anyway.

It's a lovely offer Chris and very much appreciated but it'll mean a full day out which I can't really spare at the moment, so I'll have to say no, but thanks again.
