Welcome to the forums!

That has a great stance, very nice indeed!

The engine bay looks nice and simple! I'm very jealous!

Cheers,

How do you find the coilovers for road use? also, where did you purchase them from?

Thanks

Thank you all for the great comments!

The coilovers are good for road use here in Holland. But I life in a part where we got nearly no speed bumps etc. It's all flat here!
But I have had people complaining (passengers..) telling me the coilovers are too hard for daily use, but i guess it's just getting used to.

The coilovers came from a guy who put em up for sale in holland. But i guess you can find them on ebay aswell..?

Although the car is nearly the way i want it to be, i still got a to-do list for it:
- Weld a small hole in the bottom (required for new mot). We thoroughly checked the car and its the only bad part of the body.
- Get a new MOT, it needs a new one before march 27th.
- Respray the inside of the frunk, unfortunately my clutch cilinder started leaking 3 weeks ago. Reacted with the paint.. Replaced it with new cilinder!
- Replace all valve stem seals.
- Replace sparks, oil, filters.
- Replace all tyres for toyo r888.
- Find out why my oil cooler leaks, i guess its the hoses + couplers. So either they get fixed or replaced.
- Respray the front bumper.

Last thing i have been looking into is getting better cams. Anyone has any experience with different cams in a 20v?

All engine work (except the cams) needs to be done prior to the summer. As i wanna hit the track when the weather is getting better.

very nice spec car.
congratulations.
can you let us know how thick are the oil pump shims and what effect did that have on the oil pressure ?
and also why have you decided to do it ?

thank you

I have not done the modification with the oil pump shims. But I asked the previous owner and he didn't remember how thick these shims were.
He did notice the oil pressure being slightly higher when the engine is cold after the modification

That's a lovely car, Mitch. I had a black-top 20v in an AE111 Trueno a little while ago, always thought it's be a great engine in a Mk1 :)

It's funny parking my wide arch, next to a standard one! So aggressive compered to standard! I could never have a standard arch AW11 again!:) only took me 27 hours to do mate! The most awkward bit was extending the front arch liners! , but that's just a little bit of plastic welding ! Get it done Dean!:)

I could only find in US too! Was thinking of getting some pre-preg and making one myself! Just need to make a mould, which is the hardest and most expensive bit!

can I ask a question if the owner of this still exists.

in this photo http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/8151/17883125.jpg

was the shift cable sitting on the exhaust shield? Did that cause any issues? I have the same thing going on and I am not sure if I should just figure out how to get the cable away from the header or put the shield on and just let hte cable lay on it.
