View Full Version : Local get together

We all keep talking about it but what about getting one organised?

I am suggesting Saturday 2nd March at 1pm. There is a pub just off the M11 at Harlow called the Rainbow and Dove (it is In Hastingwood Road, Hastingwood) which has good write ups. I have looked on google and the car park is reasonable.

If anyone has any better ideas?

Anyone up for it?

Pasted in here as well as South East forum

Given how close that is to home, it would be rude not to! Put me down as a yes.

I'd love to but I work Saturdays! Sundays would be good

I am going to try again. What about Sunday 28th April (so Andrew can come along).

If everyone posts up where they are we can choose somewhere central. I think there are people in:

Epping, Hatfield, Stevenage, Maldon, Cambridge, Hemel and of course me in Hertford. Maybe a few more from further afield. So, who fancies a get together over a spot of lunch? Suggestions taken for dates or locations. Mk1 not necessary but an interest in them is.

Hi just joined so would be good to meet a few of you, I'm in Hatfield.

I think the 28th is free for me. Might try and dump the kids with their grandparents and bring the missus out for lunch. She just loves MR2s.....

Will be good to meet you too, and partners are allowed.

I'll keep my eye on this thread.

Oh, fiddlesticks.
I post up at 12.25 and at 16.11 I get an email about a rowing regatta my son may be taking part in on the 28th. I will find out on Saturday and if he is, I cannot make the date.

The meet can go ahead without me or any other suggestions of dates? I don't think I can make a single weekend in May due to other committments.

Thanks so much Kate for thinking of me but it's difficult for me (any date) due to distance and work commitments. I work freelance and have to do lots of weekend work these days, simply to keep up.
