Hi folks, newbie here.

I have a 1989 mk1 Mr2. Inherited it and due to rust am turning it into a project car. I will need advice as this is the 1st project hI have under taken alone, so help would b appreciated

Aren't Chris (Oukie) and Jimi nearby to Inverness?

All I know is that Inverness is a long long long way from me. I once spoke to someone in Inverness who said he was coming down my way soon. He was going to Newcastle.

Newcastle is miles and miles away but it was only half way to Inverness. Magical part of the world, just miles away.

If Jimi and Oukie are near you, you will have some excellent support. Chris (Oukie) has about 8 Mk1s cos he is greedy.

Do you already have the images on some webspace somewhere? If so, just use [ img]www.test.com/test.jpg[/ img] but without the spaces before img.

Ha! Inverness close to Glenrothes?!?! Well maybe I guess compared to Inverness and Manchester ;-)

It's about a 2 and a half hour drive, maybe more if the traffic up the A9 is bad. My wifes family are from the 'ness. Beautiful part of the world and a great drive up from where I am in Dundee, but man it is quite far north. Not quite Orkney but not far off!

Laptop1224 let me know where you are and next time I'm up your way I might be persuaded to drive the SC up and pop by for a blether.

All the best with the new car and the MOT. I'm sure you'll have a blast with it!

Yes Jimi and I both live in or near Glenrothes, which is a fair bit farther south than Inverness.
Oh and I only have four mk1s now :) so not to greedy.
