Hi All,

I am not sure what I want to do, I may be offered another mk1 but want to know what mine could be worth.

So here goes,

Full rear arch rebuild
Resprayed cadbury purple
Custom exhaust
Momo steering wheel
New T-bar seals and guides
Rage bucket seats
K 'n' N Air filter
111300 miles
White dials
Stainless gear knob
Stainless engine parts
Apex springs
Front strut brace
Clear indicators and side repeaters

Think thats everything.

Anyone have any sort of idea what I may be able to sell my car for?

Thanks in advance

would put it well over 2 grand but I hope this doesn't upset you. The engine bay looks horrid with all the red. I would get a scotch brite and some degreaser scotch the engine bay where you can and give it a coat of satin matt black. Sorry for saying that but its one of my many pet hates ( I have a lot as far as paintwork goes)
It all depends on the day when your selling a car but you have pictures of everything thats been done to it so you can demand good money for it.

I think you need to get rid of those wheels. I would be happy to let you swap them with mine

Thanks for the replies.

I was just trying to get an idea as I may be getting a v6 mk1 but if not I will keep mine and turbo it.

Is it a 3.0 V6 or the 3.5? snowtigger raves about his 3 1/2 litre v6 but it eats tyres. If your going turbo route go straight for the rev3 engine

I wouldnt even think about breaking it up. Looks a beut, easy £2k there for the right buyer if its as solid as it seems, I wouldnt consider any less unless you need a rapid sale for the V6. Even then around £1.5k is still a bargain.
Although, I agree without wanting to criticise to tidy up the paint in the engine bay. Also one of my personal peevs are aftermarket air filters, particularly on mk1's were they sit in the engine bay sucking in hot air. Total waste of time, I would put that back to stock.

sent from my foot to your arse!

It would be a 3.0 v6, I already have the turbo engine waiting to go in mine (which is why the engine bay isnt painted as was going to paint it when the turbo lump went in.)

Im torn because I know the v6 car and its stunning but not sure that its what I want. :)

Take it for a run and see what you think but get someone to take you out in a turbo as well because the two cars will drive totally differently

Agree with cabbydave, you are either one or the other. Now i've had a turbo, nothing will beat it - i live for sitting on the 'cliff' of boost and then flooring it and riding the crest of the huge torque wave. Or you just want the torque all of the time and love the throb of a huge lump powering your beast.

Similar outcome, different styles, try before you buy - i'd be turbo all the way.

Turbo over here as well, all day long (until it heatsoakes anyway)

Water cooled intercooler (chargecooler) = Friend :-)
