Right folks,

Putting my Mk1 up for sale.
I've owned it since May of last year and bought it at 75,938 miles. Since that time I've sunk a lot of dough into it and have had some good times in it.

In the past year the car has got:
Oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs changed
15" Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 alloys with Bridgestone Turanza (over 50% left on thread)
Timing belt and tensioner changed
Leather handbrake and gear gaiters
Gearbox from my other Mk1 with 67k miles so no 5th gear popping issues
All brakes fitted with new seals and bolts.
New pads and discs all round
Replacement radiator (genuine Toyota) from a low mileage example and coolant flushed
New battery
Gear pattern badge replaced

I put it through the NCT on Tues 3rd July and it failed on the following:
One spot of rust/corrosion at the rear driver's underside/suspension mounting point (I knew about this prior to test as it was knocking from rear - have been quoted €140 to repair)
Exhaust blowing - will need a replacement
Handbrake effort - cable will need adjusting.

The car is now on 81,500 miles and is sitting up as I had it on classic insurance and I need NCT to insure it.

I'm after buying a Clio 172 so I'd like to move it on quickly.
Bad points:
I never wired up the radio. Never bothered me TBH. I can supply original tape player and/or a CD player for the purchaser
Passenger rear arch is beginning to bubble
Electric mirrors not working (again not something that bothered me)
Tax just out in June

I have a lot of spares which I will throw in for nothing for any purchaser (including rare Recaro Supercharger seats which need repair - check the price out on these!!)

I'm putting a price of €1,800 which I think is decent considering the money was spent over the last year (more than double the asking price).
As always, price is negotiable and I will consider reasonable offers.
If you've any further questions, please PM or contact me at 087 6664300.
I may consider a swap PX with cash my way for something over 15 years old that qualifies for classic insurance (preferrably a BMW E30 to keep the other half happy!)
Cheers, Paddy
