This is like fate! I am worried that my Head Gasket might have gone and the bodywork is mint so i may be able to use this for an engine swap as a cheaper option than a HG replacement, if it has gone (hoping all it needs is a new expansion cap). Also, this is only 3 miles up the road! Nice one.

I bought this last week. £250 was a total bargain, it's only got rust on the rear passenger arch and the front wing could do with replacing.

Well done, looks a brillaint bargain and the photo is lovely.

I do like them in white, my first one was white and I sobbed when we changed it (it was 18 months old when we got it, I am that old)

Very nice. I went to see this. It needed a good wash which it looks like you've done. I would have bought it if I'd had the space but having two white mk1s and only one parking space was not an option sadly. So cheap aswell! Still got the transformers bonnet badge?!

Yeah, it took a few hours at least to get it shiny! It was filthy and the green film was solid. I took the badge off and moved the mr2 badge where it should be! It's gone to a good home, I'm already buying stuff to get it back to how it should be. :)

Kwik picky with Lotus Éclat wheels on 4x114.3 adapters:

Still running OK, with a slight total failure on the alternator. Replaced with an MGF alt at the roadside. Getting rear arches done next week and have new front wings incoming.

That would look good with arch extensions on it either Woodsport ones or the ones off ebay i'll save the link for when you come round
