Hi Guys,

Massive thanks to Bill for coming over to my place and getting this car going and timing the engine up. Sadly now comes the time to sell it.

I've really no idea what to say about it and what to ask for it. This is my test advert really, see what you guys comment on the car, the asking price, what every else and then take from this and advertise it a few other places.

I'm putting a price of £895 on it, but I have pretty much pulled that number out my bum, I just like the number.

Structurally and mechanically, I bought the car from Cabby Dave who has welded up all the arches and sills, so the car is solid and strong, but is sporting some surface rust. The worst bit at the moment is the A pillar.

The engine sounds and pulls great!

The paint work is tatty, needs new pads, tyres and a drop link (at least).

Wheels are non standard.

The inside is a mixed bag.

It's done 90k miles.

Here are some pics...

HAHA! Well you did ask for any old comments!

Personally mate being more constructive I think if Neil Jones is trying to shift that red one for the same money in similar condition with no MOT then why not give it a go yourself, afterall he knows the MK1 market well enough to generate an income stream from it. It shows that the prices of these cars are starting to rise *thinks about how lucky I was with mine*

Your car is solid, so would make a nice light project for someone with access to a spraygun (as you know I had a plan for it myself before my mate decided to close his bodyshop & go mobile again)

Id also stick it on some of the free to advertise forums like retrorides, autoshite etc

GLWTS :-D
