Hey! Im normally an old ford owner but have aways fancied a mk1 mr2. Anyway, whilst hunting for a new rouaround, not wanting to spend anymore than 500 squids... As you do! Anyway, one lsst hlimpse, i spotted a mk1 mr2, 1987 in white, 5 miles from home, up for 65, i knew i couldnt afford that, but bein so close i thought id have a look. Anyway, its 1985, 2 owners, very tidy bodywork, small ding on osr arch and missing toyota badge, new pads, discs, calipers and cables. 4 new tyres, new stainless exhaust, new waterpump. 100k on the clock. And i walked away........ 450 out.of.pocket and a fresh set of toyota keys. Got it back on the rams for a service, immaculate underside, and no running issues. Its a t bar and a jap import so has full electrics and air con! Im very chuffed! Will get pics posted asap. And my padtndr is aso on the insurance, learnin to drive! Should be fun! Am thinging about a turbo vonvsrsion or a 4agze but cannot seem to find any! Anywzy! Do you guys think its a good buy!?

Haha, yeah, sorry about the spelling, is hard to use my phones keypad after afew beers! Ill get afew pics up of it over the weekend. It did have an issue with coolant leaking due to a coolant pipe popping off but ive done a bock and leak test and has come back fine, and now its been drained and refilled with coolant, seems absoluty spot on. Also had the common hunting issue at idle, but again, ive sorted that now, and am left with no running issues atall! Happy days!

Heres afew pics! Needs a couple of little touch ups, ill be giving the lower front a once over just to tidy and the one and only bit of rot on the osr lower section, cut out and replaced in the next few weeks. It flew thru its mot, not even an advisory! Its quite nippy, not sure whats been done to it engine wise but goes well. Anyway, pics! http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192815.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192602.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192459.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192407.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192443.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192257.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k618/2010deathproofcapri/2012-04-21192527.jpg what you guys think?
