Hello,
As some of you may know, I have been trying to decide if to sell or break my MR2... I have finally decided to break it as I now need to get rid of my MR2 to make room for my other black MK1a :(. So I have started breaking my Metallic Beige MR2 to hopefully get some funds together to hopefully get the black MK1a insured one day and pay for small jobs that need doing. Most parts are available apart from the engine (and parts I may keep for the black MR2 ;) so please feel free to ask what parts I have, and Ill see what I can find :)

I do have some extra parts such as a fuel boost valve, a shiny Bosal exhaust (backbox), clear side and front indicator lenses and maybe some other parts.

Here are some pictures of the MR2 im breaking:

Noooo I love this car. Would rather see one in champagne beige restored over a black one. :(

Is the chassis rotten? Where are the areas of rust? How much for the whole car minus engine?

I too would definately want to see the gold mk1 make a return. I'm thinking carbon bonnet and split rims with black centres :-)

Hi Jak! As I mentioned the other week, I'd be interested in the passenger and driver side air vents with the chrome knobs :)

Wow didn't think Id have this much interest, are they really that rare!? :s The only reason I am breaking is that unfortunately the parts will most likely be worth more than the car as a whole at the moment. If I had lots of money (and space!) I would of loved to keep it and restore it as I love the colour too :(. Although as I have had the chance to own the black MK1a from my dad which is rust free and only needs a few things changing to make it near mint. By selling the parts this would help to fund getting a few parts resprayed for it etc. This gold MR2 is not rust free unfortunately, although about 3 quarters of the bodywork has been sorted (with filler) there are still a few holes that will need filling etc. So I will PM the people interested in the whole car with more pictures first and then respond to people interested in parts.

If anyone is interested in the whole car please PM me and I will send you some more pictures of what needs sorting and how the car is, if no deal is agreed then I will respond to the people interested in parts as soon as possible :)

Thank you
Jack

And the engine unfortunately is not a very good one, it ideally needs a rebuild so thats why I'm not bothering to sell it :(

Thanks
Jack
