Hi guys, my throttle cable is fraying so i need to get a new one.

Any ideas where i can get one from or if anyone has one going?

No worries mate, TCB arent always the cheapest but they have most mk1 bits readily available & I've found some of the advice they offer really useful too.

hi Lewis where is it fraying , the cable was replaced with a new one when i put the engine in :confused: . i used proper accelerator cable from my local motor factors so it should definitely be up to the job .

My friend had a drive in it and said the accelerater pedal was quite stiff so I got it looked at by a garage.they checked it and just said it was fraying, not sure where.
