I have a very rare import 'mika red' coloured Mk1 Mr2, it is a very rare colour. MOT til June 12, Tax til Jan 12.

It's an NA, about 69k on the clock but it's had a clock change when it was imported.

V5 is present but there isn't much paperwork.

Cat C/D repair, I didn't know this when I bought it but the crash damage was repaired, car drives straight. I wouldn't let this put you off, it's a 1988 car!

Bodywork is ok, not the best paint, rear and front bumper could do with a respray for example.

Underneath is stunning though, this is the important bit, RUST FREE. No rust on rear arches.

Janspeed exhaust
Runs well, used often, never let me down

I've fitted an MR2 turbo rear ARB

Located in St Albans

I'm after £1200 or offers which is a good price for a rare coloured tintop (lightest and stiffest chassis) Mk1

PM me if of any interest!

Ollie

Think so mate, it certainly beefed it up a bit.. I was unaware of this before but apparently a lot of imports didn't get an ARB fitted as standard.

Not as much as I'm looking forward to driving it again, with an extra 30+ BHP and better reliability!

I would be very tempted if I had any way to store it. But with my car in the secured car port and the two daily drives on the drive, no room!

Good luck with the sale.

At some point within next year or so, I should be selling a mica red spoiler as I have bought an LED one but in wrong colour so need to respray. When that is done, I shall have a spare one in Mica Red.

Thanks Kate.. I'm surprised it's still here but I'm not going to give it away so it'll stay up for sale. Seems mad that people go out and spend more money than this is forsale for on rusty , leaky UK models.

I'm hoping it'll sell sooner rather than later but if it doesn't we can talk about the spoiler..

Thanks

Ollie

I'll certainly make him aware of the club.. it's a car which will hopefully be around for a long time to come!
