Hey paul, i know this is an old thread but do you still have any boos kits or can you point me in the right direction of where to purchase said item?

Hi Jawa. Try your local motor factor for a momo unit. I bought a cheap ebay boss first, but it was really poor quality and far too short (knuckles would hit the indicators on when turning). If you have a flat (ish) aftermarket wheel, the momo will place it in the same position as the standard setup. I think my boss was in the region of £80.
Hope that helps.

^^^^^ What that man said ^^^^^ do not buy a cheap ebay boss, I still have one somewhere that I also bought and found was unusable :-(

So just to make sure...the boss is basically an adapter so an aftermarket wheel will fit to the steering column...?
Is there a specific MK1 boss or does a boss for another car fit?
Does the boss determine how far from the dash the steering wheel is??

The Momo boss will take most aftermarket wheels and puts the wheel in the correct position, from memory the indicator self cancelling system works properly as well.
The boss is MK1 specific.
