UPDATE 5th November 2003

Dear North East Members,

The following update applies to any members who are booked to attend the north east Christmas party at The Eden Arms Hotel on Saturday 13th December. I have managed to secure an even better deal at the hotel. We were previously booked into the Windlestone Suite for dinner with disco only, till 1am. The night was to commence at 8.30pm and finish at 1am. I have managed through aggressive negotiations to secure all 26 places in the Seasons Restaurant with dinner commencing promptly at 7.30pm, a much better time, and disco finishing at midnight. For an extra bonus there is live entertainment only in this room which will make the evening much better. The good news is it will only cost £5 more to be in here. Therefore the total price for the night including accommodation will now be £50 ( Previously £45 ) I suggest we now meet in the main bar between 6.45pm and 7.15pm. Christmas Party 2003

After the sucess of 2002 we have decided to repeat the festive celebrations. This years north east club party will be held on Saturday 13th December 2003 at The Eden Arms Hotel at Rushyford near Darlington. This years party will be the full works, afternoon in the hotel with full use of pool and gym/sauna facilities followed by the party itself with disco and entertainment till the early hours. These facilities will only be available to you if you are staying in the hotel for the night, so it has been decided to stay over with a run out the following day. An early indication of prices suggest it will cost around £49 for the Christmas party, bed and breakfast. I'm sure you will agree this is great value for money and will save people having to either not drink, book taxis or even leave the party early. It's going to be a great night at a great location, 1 mile from J60 A1M. At roundabout turn left and follow A689 for 1 mile, you will find the hotel over the next roundabout. If you are from another region the please note you are more than welcome to come to this party and sample the 'Geordie Party Spirit', you won't be disappointed!!!
